This IOL Gripping Forceps utilises a squeeze-handle mechanism to allow exquisite grasping of the IOL implant, whilst using IOL cutting scissors (such as the 1-705) to cut the implant into fragments for IOL explantation.
The gentle curve to the shaft of the instrument offers the surgeon a more ergonomic and easier approach to guiding the forceps through the micro-incision wound irrespective of its meridian (location).
