Repair Services

We offer a fast turnaround on the evaluation of our own handheld surgical instruments, in order to determine the eligibility for repair.

Our Aim:

• We endeavour to repair all Duckworth & Kent ophthalmic surgical instruments, including diamond knives.
• We always provide a quality, professional service utilising our technologically advanced in-house facilities.
• We aim to achieve a fast and efficient turnaround on the evaluation of any D&K instrument that may need repairing.
• D&K instruments are repaired by highly skilled craftsmen, ensuring that imperfections are not overlooked.
• If it is not possible to repair the instrument, then we will offer the option of purchasing an equivalent or suitable replacement.

If Repairable

The cost of repair depends on the complexity of the instrument. Rates start from £120 + cost of replacement component parts.

Before we will carry out any work or repairs on any instrument we require proof that the instrument has been decontaminated.
